KSP ~ COVID-19
I’m sure you are all aware of the many things happening as a result of the pandemic we are facing with COVID 19. First, let me say that we believe in FAITH and not FEAR. And also believe we must be careful and respect the opinion of our government and healthcare officials. In light of the current situation, our office will be closed to the public until March 23. Our KSP team will not be in the office but we are always available by phone or email if you need assistance during this time. While we do not believe there is a need for panic, there is a need to be responsible. I also want to stress the importance of the guidelines provided to us by the World Health Organization.
> Wash your hands frequently. Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer kills viruses that may be on your hands.
> Maintain social distancing. Maintain at least 3 feet distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing – a good practice right now to maintain this distance even if no symptoms are present.
> Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses and this can transfer when touching your face. Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze and dispose of the used tissue immediately.
> If you have fever, cough or difficulty breathing, seek medical care. You can call 211 to get information on local providers near you.
> Stay informed – but don’t panic!
And a recommendation not made by the World Health Organization or the CDC but one we recommend…PRAY. Pray for this situation to get under control, for those infected with the virus, for protection of our most vulnerable citizens – as well as ourselves, and for all those in government and healthcare doing all they can to minimize the spread of this virus.
