Time For A Season Change

Time for a season change, would you agree? Storms and dysfunction, hurried pace, worry and fear; it seems there are endless days of concern. Fall turns the heat to cooler days. The sun sets earlier in the sky and out comes the harvest moon. We eat dinner earlier and my mind finds ways to slow down. I believe the world is hungry for a real change. One where we stop fighting about the things that are not eternal and will soon be gone.

I’m hungry for a time where thankfulness is on our daily agenda. A time where genuine connections with people are our everyday world. A time where peace and contentment drives our attitude. Thanksgiving is a holiday set apart for just such an attitude. What we forget is that it is available every single day. We can plug into and stay connected to genuine peace and real life, leaving behind the counterfeit. Enjoy this new season, I know I will. 🙂 And of course, I love everything pumpkin so check out our Pumpkin Recipes.

“God be merciful and gracious to us and bless us and cause His face to shine upon us and among us–Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!– That Your way may be known upon earth, Your saving power (Your deliverance and Your salvation) among all nations. Let the peoples praise You [turn away from their idols] and give thanks to You, O God; let all the peoples praise and give thanks to You. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for You will judge the peoples fairly and guide, lead, or drive the nations upon earth. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! Let the peoples praise You [turn away from their idols] and give thanks to You, O God; let all the peoples praise and give thanks to You! The earth has yielded its harvest [in evidence of God’s approval]; God, even our own God, will bless us. God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall reverently fear Him.”
Psalm 67:1-7 AMPC
